John Appleyard’s photograph of Hollin Hall Hotel will be featured on the cover of the next Bollington Live. Congratulations, John, for capturing an exciting view of the hotel in late spring!

TOP SECRET PROJECT REVEALED!
I’ve been working on a BOOK with Nik Perring to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. It includes 20 of my photographs and 20 very short stories, poems, and haiku inspired by them, written by 20 fantastic writers and poets — both local and best-selling! The book will be on display and available for order for £14 throughout May and June.
Purchase one by scrolling to the bottom of the shop or by filling out this contact form with your details.
Many thanks to the wonderful writers who submitted their work with great speed and enthusiasm.
Have you been to the Bollington Festival Photography exhibition yet?
Our opening this weekend was a great success, with several happy purchases and even more bids on Terry Heathcote’s historical White Nancy composite. The Exhibition (and auction) ends on Sunday, May 24th, so there is still time to visit us, share stories about your favorite bits of Bollington, and ask those burning questions about camera equipment.
If we haven’t been posting lately, it is because we’ve been preparing for our exhibition at the Bollington Festival in May. The photographs, all depicting the life and locations of Bollington, represent the work of 21 local photographers. Put our photography show at the Methodist Church on your schedule of Festival events, and see if you can spot your favorite place (or people).
